Establishment “Republican” Nikki Haley may be confused about the immigration views of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida … but a political action committee supporting one of his colleagues/ presidential campaign rivals isn’t.
Keep The Promise – a PAC backing the campaign of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas – launched a scathing ad this week bashing Rubio on the hot-button issue of illegal immigration. Specifically, the ad takes after Rubio for supporting a pathway to citizenship for those who enter America illegally.

Damn … that’s what they refer to in the business as a “nut-cutter.”
As we noted in a recent column addressing the refugee resettlement issue, we don’t object to some sort of “pathway to status” for select immigrants. But not citizenship. And certainly not the receipt of taxpayer-subsidized largesse.
Rubio is currently polling at 11.8 percent nationally – trailing GOP frontrunners Donald Trump (34.5 percent) and Cruz (19.3 percent). In early-voting Iowa, Rubio is polling at 11.7 – also behind Trump and Cruz, who are running neck-and-neck in that state. In New Hampshire, he’s in second place at 12.8 percent – but trails the front-running Trump by nearly 20 points. Meanwhile in “First in the South” South Carolina, Rubio is at 11.5 percent – trailing Trump (35 percent) and Cruz (20.5 percent).

presidential candidates I figured worth of that privilege: Ronald Wilson Reagan
(whose name I had to write-in in 1976, due to CFR Texas-Delegation, RNC vote
manipulation!) twice by ballot, and again by write-in, Dr. Alan Keyes, Ph.D. in
1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008!!! … Lord knows, we do not need another CRUZ, RUBIO,
JINDAL, CHRISTIE, SPROUT BUSH, nor KASICH NWO WIND-UP TOY to deliver the Coup
de Grace to these united States of America – the Republic, and last Bastion of Freedom
and Liberty on planet Earth!!!!!
