THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE …

We’ve already weighed in on the disappointing collapse of U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky’s presidential campaign … but things keep getting worse.

The latest indignity?  According to data from Nielsen BookScan (first reported by Buzzfeed), Paul’s latest book – Our Presidents & Their Prayers – sold just 80 copies in its first six days of release.  Through this week, the book has sold just 440 copies since appearing on the shelves on October 20.

Wow …

“Blame the invisible hand,” Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczynski and Megan Apper joked.

What happened to Paul?  Wasn’t he supposed to be a legitimate contender?

Yes …

But he choose poorly … opting to take his libertarian-leaning base for granted in an effort to court establishment “Republicans” and social conservatives.  While Paul was doing that, Donald Trump was catching a populist wave of frustration and anger at the very establishment Paul was cozying up to …

“Not only did Paul choose the worst possible option for pursuing his presidential ambitions, but he’s been substantially less than energetic in advancing them,” we wrote recently.  “True, Paul has offered up some solid substance on the fiscal front, but he’s been less than impressive on liberty issues and he’s taken major steps in the wrong direction when it comes to foreign policy.”

One of Paul’s top advisors told us last week the candidate has enough money to stay in the race through the Iowa caucuses on February 1, 2016.

Our prediction?  He’s not going to make it that far …

According to the latest aggregate polling data from Real Clear Politics, Paul is drawing just 2.8 percent support nationally.  In early-voting Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, he’s a 2.3 percent, 3.5 percent and 2 percent, respectively.

“But he choose poorly”.

If you’re going to quote an Indiana Jones movie, at least get an editor who will catch your grammatical errors.

It’s the mom (too bad to call dad jeans). jeans. Combined with the wig–ooo, just too scary.

Cockroach would probably make more money selling copies of his shirt to be used as an emergency field board for checkers

Normally these republican frauds buy up enough copies of their own book to put it on the bestseller list. I guess Rand couldn’t afford to do that this time.

Is it a coincidence that his book is released during a presidential campaign? He must have started on it sometime ago. Most of these fuckers are running for president to pad their bank accounts while they fly around the country on the dime of donors on one big book tour.

well, his ghostwriter would have started on it sometime ago.

I could care not less about Rand’s collapse. What I am curious about is the Budweisex Armed Forces sign?

Looking at his shirt gives me the idea of making a puzzle that has 10,000 pieces. And when you finish it, it says — GO OUTSIDE

I know that he is attempting to make a statement with that outfit, but I can’t even make a joke from it……

It’ll be fine – he got Mulvaney’s endorsement. He’s pacing himself. You’ll see.
