Our view? #LifeMatters (born or unborn).
Color, creed, age, gender, orientation … those things do not matter.

In an effort to co-opt the “Black Lives Matter” movement for its own political advantage, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) recently approved a “solidarity” resolution aiming to align itself with the organization.
“The DNC joins with Americans across the country in affirming ‘Black lives matter’ and the ‘say her name’ efforts to make visible the pain of our fellow and sister Americans as they condemn extrajudicial killings of unarmed African American men, women and children,” the resolution stated.
The statement went on to name several of the group’s leaders – prompting the organization to issue a swift rebuke of the attempted courtship.
“We do not now, nor have we ever, endorsed or affiliated with the Democratic Party, or with any party,” the network’s leaders wrote on their Facebook page on Sunday. “The Democratic Party, like the Republican and all political parties, have historically attempted to control or contain black people’s efforts to liberate ourselves. True change requires real struggle, and that struggle will be in the streets and led by the people, not by a political party.”

So does that mean they’re going the Louis Farrakhan route?
Truth be told, we agree 100 percent with “Black Lives Matter” when it says the two major political parties are worthless when it comes to promoting blacks’ best interests (financially or with regard to their individual liberties).
But we’ve said that before …

Was the glasses. I put them down getting a cup of coffee and the damned things went into hiding. And the other two pair I keep positioned around the house are hidding too. I hate when that happens. And with kids, I think of what my father used to complain about – like pencils that never have points – and I go outside and kick my own ass.
I use talk to text a lot when I am traveling and want to post or fool around on the internet so with me it’s usually the tablet. Of course I guess I could proofread…

All lives matter, but people should also be treated equally, and no, that is not the case today.
There are a lot of people in the BLM movement who are not nearly as oppressed as they claim they are. There are a lot of other people that dismiss actual discrimination and pretend that some groups do not actually face discrimination when they really do. The people in the middle understand that some inequality does exist, and simply want to take steps to fix those problems, but they are being ripped apart by the two extremes playing tug of war.
There is a need for this discussion, but people on both sides treat it as a game that they need to win. If that happens, there are no winners.
When BLM does not have a hissy fit when “All lives Matter” is uttered will be the time that I would consider meeting them in the middle. This group is so radical and preaches so much violence that they don’t deserve any consideration.
They were chanting for the death of cops at the Minnesota State Fair this week.

The Democrats had better be careful with this organization, it could end up being an “Albatross” around their political neck. This group is out and about espousing violence and should be pushed on the trash heap of of bad political/social ideas.
The Democrats reaching out to co-opt these nuts and having BLM reject them is hilarious. It also shows which way the democrat moral compass is pointing. And there has been several discussions on this blog lately about endorsements from certain groups to different political parties. Just keep this one in mind.

That would be nice, but probably a small group at best. Any discontent that would cost them votes by people not voting for whatever reason would be a plus. It happens in the Republican Party often, people stayed home the last two Presidential elections giving us the mess we now have.
They might lose a few votes but most blacks will still go to the polls and vote Democrat.
