He’s dithering … although we suspect he’ll wind up eventually opposing Obama’s effort to ram this economically devastating deal through the U.S. Congress.
What about the rest of South Carolina’s “conservative” GOP congressional delegation?

We all know U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford has been selling out left and right lately, so we’re not remotely optimistic he’s going to do the right thing for South Carolina’s economy.
Trey Gowdy? He’s been a vocal opponent of the Obama administration’s “open borders” push, and given the immigration issues associated with Obamatrade it seems likely he would oppose it … but who knows.
That leaves us with fiscally liberal U.S. Reps. Joe Wilson and Tom Rice …
Both of these lawmakers have been profound disappointments in Congress when it comes to protecting freedom and free markets – especially Wilson, who briefly veered to the right in 2011 (along with his delegation) but has since slipped back into his old fiscally liberal habits.
Conservatives have been watching Wilson closely over the last year or so – and view his upcoming Obamatrade votes (one granting Obama “fast track” negotiating powers and the other to approve his secretive trade pact) as real litmus tests.
In fact FITS spoke over the weekend with one attractive female candidate who confirmed she had been approached by conservative activists and urged to run against Wilson – an offer she is considering.

Actions have consequences, and if Wilson (or any other member of the South Carolina delegation) sells our state’s citizens down the river in an effort to accommodate Obama and liberal “Republican” leaders like U.S. House Speaker John Boehner – they should face credible electoral challenges.
In fact based on his voting record, we would argue Wilson deserves to face one already …

Has fits mentioned that Tim Scott voted for TPA. 13 of the 15 most liberal Senators voted against TPA, while 11 of the 15 (one left office and one did not vote) voted for TPA.

Wilson is a vote Whore with NO core values. It has amazed me how he has been able to skate and fool so many for so long! he deserves serious opposition and hopefully to be defeated. Wilson is much too cozy with the likes of Danny Frazier, Jimmy Metts, Bob Peeler, Randy Halfacre, Joe Owens, etc. The infamous Lexington Ring and it’s associates.

Recently my Proctocologist, Dr. Backhouse, had me in a compromising position when the subject of Joe Wilson came up. He was off the opinion that Wilson had more guts than balls and went on to add that there is a Medical distinction between “Guts” and “Balls.”
According to Dr. Backhouse the British Medical Journal: Volume 323; page 295, reads in part that “guts” is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the “guts” to ask: “Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?”

You made this story up. I don’t support the TPA (mostly because we don’t know what’s in it). However, unless you start putting people on the record it’s becoming clear a lot of what you write is fantasy. People may say things, but without having to own it – people will say anything.
And the potential challenger? It’s some loon, cut from the same cloth as previous challengers.
You’ve been hinting at wanting to be considered real news media, well you’re going to have to do better than letting people spout off in the shadows. I can think of numerous stories you’ve written where unnamed sources claim things and it doesn’t materialize. Conservative primary challenges against both Rice and Wilson have the possibility of unseating both of them. I live in Rice’s district and I have voted for him in the General election, but I would like to see a person more committed to Conservative principles.
I and another friend worked our bunns off for Andre’ only to lose at the end. Very disheartening considering how much better person Andre’ is.
Maybe he should consider running again. He had a lot of support in my area.

I think they are loading the bags for distribution. I think Joe was at one of those operations a while back and pitched in to help and for the photo op. I have to agree with you . I have told Joe he needs to work on getting his Heritage score above 80 % . He is currently at 76% last time I looked.. But there is no one I know of I would support over him.
That “kid” is my son, a 19 year-old, respectful and responsible young man who is proud to be serving as an intern in Congressman Wilson’s office. He will appreciate the comment about “all that hair” since his father has very little. He and Cong. Wilson are helping the USO assemble gift bags and boxes for the military, not taking advantage of the “booty.” The photo was posted on Cong. Wilson’s FB page several weeks ago and was apparently copied from there.
