MEET CNN’S NEW SOUTH CAROLINA SCRIBE …
|| By FITSNEWS || Elizabeth Landers is a CNN video producer currently covering South Carolina – or more specifically the quadrennial “First in the South” presidential goat rodeo that’s rolling through our fair state with increasing frequency of late.
Landers went to Tufts, dabbles in fashion and is a “Tallahassee Lassie,” according to her Twitter page … which you should probably follow if you’re going to follow the 2016 presidential election.
Why are we writing about her? Well, apparently Landers was out and about in downtown Columbia, S.C. last week when Mark Plowden – a staffer for S.C. lieutenant governor Henry McMaster – informed her she would soon be appearing on this website because she was “hot.”
Hmmmm … was this what our sources meant when they told us Landers had been “warned” about FITS’ founding editor Will Folks?
It’s true that in years past the presence of an attractive presidential reporter on the Palmetto political scene would have resulted in us immediately objectifying Landers – resulting in extensive web leering on the part of our founding editor and his (army of) less gentlemanly commenters.
But now? Eh …
That sort of thing just feels so … obligatory.
So in lieu of that we’ll simply welcome Landers to the Palmetto State, give her a social media plug and promise to bring you any stories she publishes which we find instructive as it relates to the presidential candidates, the issues they’re debating or the media marketplace in which they’re operating.
Gosh its no fun being a grown up website …

This is true. I went to High School with Ainsley Earhardt and she’s was pretty damn smart, but she and everyone else knows why she was hired by Fox News.

I really like Ainsley, she’s a sweetheart and she’s smart as a whip. She is a good reporter and the camera doesn’t do her justice. She’s prettier in person.
She ended up marrying a Clemson boy, so she finally wised up in that area.

Rachel Maddow has a great sense of humor. No doubt she is a lez but ugly she ain’t and Mika Brezinski is looks,class and smarts all rolled into one package.
That being said, I’m pissed at Fox Business News allowing Imus to go off cable/satellite TV but stay on radio. The shit they have on there now is just about as exciting as watching paint dry. SiriusFM (oops, I MEANT Sirius XM….) dropped Fox Business News till Imus switched to Fox. Now that he is gone I look for SiriusFM(there I go again…) to drop them again and I wouldn’t blame them if they did.
