DEMOCRATIC FRONTRUNNER FINALLY GETTING AROUND TO SCHEDULING PALMETTO STATE STOP
|| By FITSNEWS || Presumed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will make her first visit to early voting South Carolina next month, The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier is reporting.
Well, so they think …
“Details are being worked out about dates and venues,” reporter Schuyler Kropf noted.

Clinton has been all over Iowa and New Hampshire since announcing her candidacy earlier this month … but has completely avoided South Carolina, where she was pummeled by Barack Obama in 2008. Ironically, it took Obama more than seven years to return to the Palmetto State after his win (and judging by the reception he got we doubt we’ll see him again anytime soon).
Clinton has been a punching bag for GOP candidates ever since she jumped into the race … and with good reason. Of course she’s also been a punching bag for her Democratic rivals … such as they are.
Clinton will reportedly be visiting small venues on her trip in an effort to connect with “everyday Americans,” a populist theme her campaign continues regurgitating in an effort to make her appear more accessible.
And less, well … herself.
Of interest? South Carolina is home to U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy – the former prosecutor who is managing the House of Representatives investigation into the Benghazi scandal (an inquiry which has been trying to get a hold of Clinton’s secret emails from her tenure as Secretary of State).
No word yet whether Gowdy will be invited to any of Clinton’s events, but we’re guessing “not so much …”

Consider the weird mental image of the Scooby Van parked in the Beacon Drive-In lot …a campaign stop to appeal to the huddled masses…then pan to a shot of Hillary scarfing a huge greasy double cheeseburger aplenty plate…then later we see the Scooby on the shoulder of I-26 for an abrupt but extended pit stop…
My advice to Hillary is the same as to Barack: Don’t bother. You don’t need this state any more than the rest of the U.S. does. Let the trolls who live here spit and hiss among themselves.
