S.C. REALITY SHOW DRAWS 855,000 VIEWER THIS WEEK …
|| By FITSNEWS || This week’s episode of Bravo TV’s Southern Charm – the South Carolina-based reality television show starring former state treasurer Thomas Ravenel – drew only 855,000 viewers. That’s the lowest total of the show’s new season, according to the website TV by the Numbers.
Last week‘s episode drew 869,000 viewers.
Southern Charm eclipsed the one million mark for viewers four times during its inaugural, ten-episode 2014 season – but it has yet to hit that mark once through six episodes this year.
Even with all sorts of real-life drama surrounding it …
Obviously we’re not talking about a spectacular flameout here – like the one which befell Ravenel’s 2014 political comeback – but we are looking at a gradual decline in viewership. And these numbers – along with the unpredictability of the show’s star – raise the question of whether Bravo will renew the show for a third season.
Southern Charm has been less than kind to the 52-year-old Ravenel this season … although the show’s editors appear to be doing everything they can to boost the image of his 23-year-old baby momma, Kathryn Dennis.

This season is excellent, even better than last. But unfortunately the show has a weak lead in Shahs of Sunset.
I do love this show though and hope Bravo brings it back for another season. It’s a refreshing change from the craziness of all the housewives series.

I’m actually kinda proud of ol’ Will. I think this may the very first piece (post-election) where he didn’t lay out his tired (and stupid) lines about TR’s super-duper potential, how he was winning until he imploded under the weight of his own silliness at the very end, blah, blah, blah. Wait…is that a tear in my eye?!
This season does not show her in a better light. Quite the opposite. I almost feel sorry for TRav…he’s stuck with her now. The child and Thomas would fare better with Thomas as the custodial parent.
Why would anyone feel sorry for him? All of this could’ve been avoided if he’d worn a condom or kept it in his pants.
