In other Palmetto political news, the South Carolina “Republican” party has announced its keynote speaker for this year’s “Silver Elephant” banquet (scheduled for Friday, May 1 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. EDT at the Columbia, S.C. Metropolitan Convention Center).
Who is it? Reince Priebus, the chairman of the national “Republican” party.

The Citadel is headed for very, very, very, big trouble if it does not stop all this overt Republican indoctrination of Cadets. As a grad, it makes me very uncomfortable to see all these right wing characters showing up to open arms at my alma mater. Over the past few years, I’ve notice a very troubling move by The Citadel and many fellow graduates towards this “Right Wing,” political insanity. It’s not what The Citadel was created to do: produce narrow minded fools to lead our Military and States. It’s just plain dangerous and needs to stop: now.
