But Graham – the fiscal liberal warmonger mounting a long-shot 2016 presidential bid – may have just topped Obama when it comes to threatening executive overreach.
According to reporter Ron Noyes at BenSwann.com, Graham told a New Hampshire crowd that the first thing he would do as president would be to reverse recent defense cuts.
(Wait … what? Earth to Graham: As we pointed out to S.C. governor Nikki Haley earlier this week, there have been no military spending cuts. In fact defense spending is up … way up).
But far more disturbing than Graham’s budgetary fibbing is his proposed method of restoring these phantom “cuts” to the military.
Here’s his plan (in his own words) …
Here is the first thing I would do if I were President of the United States, I wouldn’t let Congress leave town until we fix this. I would literally use the military to keep them in if I had to.

Graham’s statement isn’t just wrong. It isn’t just inane. It isn’t just reckless. It isn’t just dangerous. It’s more than that … it’s downright treasonous. And you better believe every “Republican” in America would say so … assuming those words came out of Obama’s mouth.
This website has been one of Graham’s fiercest critics for years – relentlessly calling him out for his anti-free market, anti-freedom positions. So we already knew he was a special interest whore, fiscal liberal, Obama abettor, neo-fascist, friend of terrorists, thief of your liberty, fraud and hypocrite.

Would you (fits) please explain what you mean by cuts. The “normal” definition is reduction from the previous year. By that definition there has been cuts the last two years. It’s not clear if 2015 will also be a cut. If you mean by cuts reduction in planned expenditures, then Congress is increasing spending.
