GANGSTA RAP MOGUL’S MURDER CASE HEATS UP …

|| By FITSNEWS || Marion H. “Suge” Knight, Jr. – founder of the Death Row rap label – saw his defense against murder charges all but evaporate this week with the release of a graphic video showing the fatal hit-and-run he instigated earlier this year.

The video – released by gossip website TMZ – shows Knight’s red truck mangling two people in a parking lot of a Compton, California burger joint.  Knight claims to have been attacked by the two victims – 55-year-old Terry Carter and 51-year-old Cle “Bone” Sloan – and such an altercation is partially captured by the camera.

“They started it.  They attacked him,” Knight’s attorney Matthew Fletcher told reporters.  “You’re not required by law to run. … If Suge had put it in park and got out, he’s dead.”

Maybe so, but it’s what happened next that will probably keep Knight behind bars for a long, long time …

At one point during the alleged altercation, Knight throws his truck into reverse and badly clips Sloan as he peels out of the parking lot.  Moments later, though, his red truck comes careening back into the picture – running over Sloan a second time and plowing into Carter and dragging his body across the pavement.

The incident occurred on January 29 as rapper Dr. Dre was in the area filming a biopic entitled Straight Outta Compton.  Knight – who had been booted from another filming location – says he went to the burger joint to try and make peace with Dre.  That’s when he claims to have been attacked by Sloan (a fellow rap music producer) and Carter (who was providing security for the movie).

The 49-year-old Knight – who has been in and out of prison on a host of charges over the years – has pleaded not guilty to murdering Carter and not guilty to the attempted murder of Sloan.

Here’s the video, although consider yourself warned: It’s exceedingly graphic (even with TMZ blurring out the fatal impact of the vehicular strike on Carter) …

Yeah …

Police aren’t buying Knight’s “self-defense” explanation.  They say he deliberately ran both men over prior to fleeing the scene.  If they make their case, Knight faces life in prison.

It appears to me that Bone, while at the truck door, uses his left hand to pull something from his back left pocket and brings it up to the truck window. Later the guy who goes over to him pulls Bone’s left arm from across his chest and removes an object from his hand. The object is then put into his pocket under his shirt. The dude in the dark shirt gets the Red Cross Award for his prompt attention to Bone.

BS. You cant make it out that well. Its not clear enough and doesnt show enough to where you could try and make a point with that. No proof of any weapons being involved either

You would think that someone’s reading comprehension would be a little bit better when using the name “truthrevealer”.

The jury finally returned to the courtroom. The judge asked the foreman if a decision had been reached. The
foreman said, “Yes, your honor. In our opinion, we don’t think he did it because we don’t believe he was there. But we think he’d have done it if he’d had a shot at it!”

A jury heard a case and brought in a verdict of not guilty, explaining, “It was an act of God under very suspicious circumstances!”

This would make a great Ford Raptor commercial.

The only problem is that I’m not sure the target market(Compton residents) have a high enough per capita income to yield ROI on the marketing dollars.

Maybe a few focus groups are needed to determine if there might be wider appeal to the wanna be gangsta population.

It’s kind of like boomers riding Harley’s, ya know? They turned Hell’s Angels/Outlaws into the boomer version of turning your baseball cap sideways and wearing droopy pants for Generation Y, so there’s no telling what the marketing geniuses might be able to do.

Reminds me of season 5 episode 7 of Good Times, titled “Wheels”, where JJ and 3 of his friends all go in together to buy Bookman’s 1954 DeSoto.

I didn’t want to watch such a bloody mess as I don’t have the stomach for it so I’ll take the word of the commentators.

Not guilty. Possible gun and reasonable doubt and such. Will never serve a day in prison.

If Bone had a gun in his hand when Suge backed into the street I could buy that. But when Suge dropped into first gear and drove back into the driveway — that would change it for me. Here, again, all we can comment on is what we see on the brief video. Suge may have a video from inside his truck.

The attorneys will argue continuation of protecting himself. I am not saying it is right or wrong, but was that his only way out? If he was scared for his life, he has a right to protect himself. Don’t get me wrong, I think he is guilty as sin, but his attorney’s will get him off

Sitting on a jury can get confusing some times. When one or both of the attorneys are very good to excellent, my thoughts could keep tilting from one way to the other — like being on a playground see-saw. It was always a relief to finally get to the deliberations where we could sort it out amongst ourselves.

Anyone else not give a shit when watching this video? This is just a typical day in their culture. Which may explain why the others standing by aren’t too shocked by what they just saw.
