BRADLEY PINION TO FOREGO SENIOR SEASON WITH TIGERS

|| By FITSNEWS ||  Clemson University punter/ kickoff specialist Bradley Pinion announced this week that he would forego his senior season with the Tigers and turn professional.

The Concord, N.C. native averaged 42.6 yards per punt in 2014 – fifth-best in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) – but he led the ACC with 28 punts inside the 20-yard-line.  He also boomed 17 kicks of fifty yards or more – third-best in the conference.

Clemson’s kickoff specialist, Pinion had 36 touchbacks on 74 kickoffs last season.  For his career, Pinion registered 102 touchbacks in 178 kickoffs.

“I appreciate what Bradley did for the program the last three years,” Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said. “He was a big reason for our success on special teams. We wish him the best as he enters his professional career.”

Great scoop Will!

Still not one word of the beat down that Clemson put on Oklahoma. I guess it’s not near as important as Pinion going pro. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on winning the effing Russell Athletic Bowl. It’s a major prize, like the leg lamp on Christmas Story. You watched the game and it was reported in all news outlets, so there is no need to read about it here. The man has two degrees from South Carolina, so why should he care to write about your crappy bowl? Are all your orange boys some damned thin-skinned? You won your bowl, you beat Carolina. Relax and enjoy ACC basketball conference play.

Our crappy bowl? Last I heard the ‘Duck Commander’ one was the toilet bowl. But at least you guys played a good game against a well-matched opponent.

He does not want to talk about that. Too embarrassing to him.

Yawn. Ranked 35th nationally – there are 32 Pro teams. The average punt for every team but Tampa Bay and Arizona was longer than Bradley’s. 26 of the 32 team’s average is at least 2 yards longer. The top twenty kickers in the NCAA are at least a yard longer – the top ten are two or more longer.

Freshman J.K. Scott at Alabama averages 48 yards.

avg punt is a pretty garbage statistic. the most important stat in punting is #s inside the 20, 10 and 5 compared to number of touchbacks

All in all, he’s only slightly above average. He’s listening to some “sports agent’s” bovine excreta.

Tater logic….You can’t fix stupid! He’s a PUNTER for crying out loud. NFL teams don’t draft punters they sign them as free agents. Soon he will find himself with no degree and no job.
