SEARCH FOR SEALED DIVORCE CASE PRODUCES OTHER COURT RECORDS …
By FITSNEWS || As this website exclusively reported earlier this week, the divorce case between “Republican” S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley‘s campaign manager Tim Pearson and his ex-wife Kristin Pearson was sealed by a family court judge last spring.
Visiting family court judge A.E. “Gene” Morehead III sealed the Pearson divorce file – and sources within the judicial branch tell FITS he was none too pleased at having been asked to do so.
Why’d he do it? Good question … we’ve heard rumors, but until the file is opened that’s all they are … rumors.
What’s not a rumor? Pearson’s other legal entanglements …
According to documents obtained by FITS during our search for the Pearson divorce case – Haley’s closest advisor appears to have had several other recent run-ins with the law.
A review of Richland County court records uncovered multiple cases involving Pearson – including a September 23, 2014 arrest for driving with a suspended license.

There’s also a related charge of “operating vehicle on highway without registration and license due to delinquency.”
Oh, and some “improper backing …”

Anyway, Pearson’s date of birth and address match records filed with the S.C. Election Commission – including a telephone number that once connected to the governor’s office.

In addition to Pearson’s various vehicular misadventures, there were also several disputes between the Haley confidant and his landlord – Columbia, S.C.-based Bollin Ligon Realtors – as well as a pending dispute between Pearson and another party.

BTW, driving suspended IS serious. Imagine if he caused an accident and your child got hurt. Insurance companies don’t cover unlicensed or suspended drivers as a matter of course (read your policy). Your uninsured motorist insurance, if you can afford full coverage, may not cover the medical expenses. His stupidity and sociopathy was putting others at risk.
Yeah, maybe so, but in his defense, you can get your license suspended and don’t even know it.
I came home one day and there was a note on my door from the local highway patrolman who had come to visit saying my license was suspended because I didn’t provide insurance information for one of my vehicles. If I had been there, he would have yanked my license. Fortunately for me, I have a good insurance person who took care of it immediately. Good thing I wasn’t home when “officer friendly” came by.
If I had been stopped for any reason before it was taken care of, I would have a “DUS” on my record.
