LOWCOUNTRY LAWMAKER TO RUN FOR NO. 2 POST IN S.C. HOUSE

By FITSNEWS || S.C. Rep. Jenny Horne – who represents Dorchester and Charleston counties in the S.C. General Assembly – will run for the office of Speaker Pro Tempore this fall, multiple sources familiar with her thinking tell FITS.

Horne – a longtime ally of suspended House Speaker Bobby Harrell – is vying for the office currently held by Jay Lucas, who took over Harrell’s duties on an interim basis following his nine-count indictment on state corruption charges.

Elections for the post will be held at an organizational session of the S.C. House of Representatives to take place after the November 4 elections.  Every two years, lawmakers elect new leaders – with this year’s races taking place under the cloud of a looming probe of the House by federal and state investigators.

Horne has been in the news lately for her role in attempting to hold Gov. Nikki Haley‘s scandal-scarred Department of Social Services (SCDSS) accountable for a host of different problems.  In fact Horne is the lawmaker who originally requested an audit of the troubled agency – a report which was finally released last week much to the governor’s chagrin.

What’s she gotten for her efforts?  A brawl with the governor’s office, for starters …

Currently Horne, S.C. Rep. Joshua Putnam and S.C. Rep. Tommy Pope – a former solicitor from York County – are the only three lawmakers in the running for the position.

How can you write about Horne and not mention the stories swirling on vote buying and corruption? You’re off your game this afternoon FITS!

An Ally of Bobby Harrell? NO FUCKING WAY for this woman. NO WAY! She gets that slot and the voters will start boiling in anger. She is more directly connected to the lawless corruption and most of them in the House.

She looks like Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec. Her association with the Toal vote swapping scandal should be enough to ward off votes.

No mention of her lawsuits against DSS and no mention of her role in the Harrell probe . You’re the definition of a hack, fits.

FITSNews is “just sayin'” … Pretty straight up report of a candidate staking out her turf.

You guys should stop “killing the messenger” here.

One would presume that FITSNew will “name names” and dis the corrupted after the election results.

Fur instance: Who else is in the mix for the post?

Jenny Horne is a corrupt, Toal whore. She is really a Democrat. We know her up here at the State House. A void for Horne is a vote for status quo corruption to continue – like Vince Sheheen and James Smith.

Because there’s always the fantasy about the fight being over “them”(the man).

In my case, I also occasionally fantasize about breaking it up and then we all have make up sex.

Aside from the writhing, sweating glistening and screaming…could it be that we are hoping for some clothing to get ripped off so we can see TITTIES?

The entire house leadership will look good in orange. Vote trading is illegal? I thought that was bidness as usual?
