GAMECOCK GREAT CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT

Former University of South Carolina running back Harold Green – a volunteer coach at Spring Valley High School in northeast Columbia, S.C. – turned himself into authorities this week on charges of sexually assaulting teenage girls.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Green – who has three daughters – has been accused of inappropriately touching the arms, backs and buttocks of an undisclosed number of girls between the ages of 15-17.

Green, 46, ranks third all-time on South Carolina’s career rushing yardage list behind former Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers and Brandon Bennett – and is tied with Rogers for second all-time with 31 rushing touchdowns.  He played for USC from 1986-89 – and went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals, St. Louis Rams and Atlanta Falcons during his nine-year NFL career.

In fact Green made the Pro Bowl in 1992 after rushing for 1,170 yards that season with the Bengals.

Green is facing five counts of sexual assault related to the incidents in question – which allegedly took place last month.  We’ll update you on his status as his case makes its way through the court system.

I know I’m going to regret asking. How do you inappropriately touch the arms?

Would you trust him with your daughters?

I wouldn’t trust T-Rav either, but I can’t lock him up for that.

Legal Eagles please help. Is there a no touching law in South Carolina? Should SLED be involved? On an unrelated subject, is it a felony or misdemeanor to spit on the Confederate flag?

Let’s codify it all just to make everything clear, I’m sure that will help.

Just like Ryan Bethea, Leon Lott has had an agenda of locking up Harold Green for 25+ years. Who paid Lott to arrest Green? We know who paid Lott to hound Bethea and why.

I don’t know if you can call it “sexual assault” when you touch somebody on their arms, backs or ass…..in the work place we call that sexual harassment, not assault.

You can call it assault if someone looks at you in a threatening manner. Simple assault is also called menacing.
