Jay Stamper – the only announced Democratic challenger to incumbent “Republican” Lindsey Graham – will meet with voters in Spartanburg County (S.C.) next week.
According to a news release from his campaign, Stamper will “address questions about his candidacy and make the case that a Democrat can defeat Graham in 2014.”

Anyway, Stamper will meet with voters at the Golden Corral Restaurant (1492 Wo Ezell Boulevard) in Spartanburg at 12:00 p.m. EST on Monday, January 13.
And yes, we double dog dare Stamper to “help himself to happiness” from one of the restaurant’s three fountain confections – the Sweet Caramel, Original Chocolate or White Chocolate “Wonderfalls.”
Because something about that … like South Carolina politics … seems unsanitary.
