To be clear, I haven’t endorsed Lindsey Graham for Senate. Last year, I voiced an ad thanking him for support of Israel. It was not an endorsement for his reelection. In fact, I don’t plan to endorse anyone in SC Senate race in the primary but I will certainly help in the general election if asked.
Obviously, Senator Graham’s people are using the “Thank you” ad and treating it like an endorsement, but neither the PAC nor I personally have endorsed in the South Carolina Senate race.Please help me by sharing this statement with your friends across South Carolina so voters understand where I stand. Huckabee’s thanks to Graham because of Graham’s support of Israel highlights a major reason SC voters should reject Lindsey in the next election.
The reason is that Graham spends more time working for 7 million of God’s chosen people in Israel than he does for the 4 million people in the state he represents. This is all the more absurd when one considers that those 7 million Israelis are richer, per capita, than the 4 million who reside in SC.
Both Huckabee and Graham pander to adherents of that nutball ideology known as Christian Zionism. Unfortunately for Republicans, about 99% of Christian Zionists in the Bible Belt South are Republicans.
So it seems that a significant portion of the SC Republicans think their most senior Senate legislator should put the interests of a foreign country ahead of the interests of his own constituents.
How come this issue never gets mentioned at Fitsnews? Is Fitsnews afraid of those Christian Zionist nutballs?
