A trio of former South Carolina Commerce Secretaries announced their support for Gov. Nikki Haley’s hand-picked lieutenant gubernatorial candidate this week.
Joe Taylor, Bob Faith, and Charlie Way have all endorsed Pat McKinney – a wealthy Lowcountry real estate developer and Haley donor who was successfully recruited by the governor to run against incumbent Glenn McConnell.
Taylor, Faith and Way were all aggressive proponents of South Carolina’s failed government-run approach to economic development … which continues to produce precisely jack squat for our state.

We don’t like either of the “Republicans” in this race … both are status quo as far as we’re concerned. And from the looks of it McKinney wears more makeup than Haley.
