Our founding editor is not supposed to play favorites in this year’s hottest lawyer competition (a.k.a. the 2013 Alicia Florrick Award), but this week he submitted his own nomination to our growing list.
And yes, Rebecca … this is that time of year when we (as we’ve done in years past) totally blow up your law firm’s website traffic. So you’re welcome … or something.
Rebecca and our founding editor Will Folks (a.k.a. Sic Willie) go way back. Specifically, the former University of North Carolina student spent the summer of 2002 fending off Sic’s inappropriate romantic advances while she served as a volunteer on Mark Sanford’s first gubernatorial campaign (forcing the former Sanford press secretary to settle for some other blond).
A hot shot workers’ comp lawyer and irrepressible community do-gooder, Kirkland is also mom to a pair of adorable one-year-old twins. And yes, dudes … she busted it hard and got her banging body back in short order. You know … just like Mrs. Sic Willie always does after popping out yet another one of our founding editor’s expanding brood (she’s currently halfway through with No. 4, for those of you keeping score at home).
Anyway … all of this is by way of reminding you there’s a little over one week left to submit nominations for the Florrick Award.
How do you nominate someone? Easy: Confidentially email us with a picture of your nominee (or a link to their official webpage). Or you can submit their information through our tip wire. Or if you’d like, you can just post their name/ link in the comments section below …
