Fiscal liberal Rick Santorum – who is clearly positioning himself for another “Republican” presidential bid – was forced to cancel a visit to early-voting Iowa this week.

Why? Because he got sick in South Carolina.

According to reporter Alex Pappas of The Daily Caller, the former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania was admitted to the hospital this weekend after picking up a “gastro-intestinal illness” during a recent visit to the Palmetto State … one of the few times we can actually pat our inbred little banana republic on the back and say “job well done, South Carolina.”

Seriously, Rick Santorum has been making us nauseous with his holier than thou brand of big government-backing hypocrisy for years …. so we’re glad our state was able to return the favor.

Santorum made waves earlier this week when he claimed “Republicans” lost in 2012 because they didn’t cater to evangelical voters – a view embraced by 2008 presidential wanna-be Mike Huckabee (RINO-Arkansas)

Our take on that?

“We’re not going to fight (Santorum and Huckabee) for the rotting carcass of ideological bankruptcy, corruption and hypocrisy that is the GOP,” we wrote. “As far as we’re concerned, it’s all theirs …”

In fact even when he’s healthy, we’d advise our readers to steer well clear of anything (or anyone) Santorum is selling …

A lot of us in Iowa agree with you, Fits. This guy is a fraud from way back, and we’re tired of having him in our state, sweater vest or no sweater vest.

Let us not forget the nasty meaning of his last name.

“The frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex.”

The guy who coined that definition should receive a Nobel Prize for his efforts. It’s just so damn fitting!

Rick’s time has passed. He will be GREAT in a cabinet role, though.
Rand Paul is Strong. The media hates him and Cruz, equally. Media hate and fear is an indicator as to who can win.
Immigration may take Rubio out. We don’t need illegal immigrant votes or to stop cheaters. And we don’t need to cater to Hateful, bitter blacks…just need to get the decent and hardworking motivated…
A CONSERVATIVE Always wins..and a McCain-Romney-H.W. moderate always loses.
The democrats MUST have a Black candidate to get the motivated cheaters and base out. Otherwise the GOP wins.
It’s that simple.

Why didn’t he just pray on it, instead of using those smarty pants doctors at the hospital?

Faith-based healing works 100% of the time God wants it to.

What’s that? God lets children die of horrible diseases even if the parents are ultra Christian? Well, err, you see, God works in mysterious ways…

As the responsible state in this matter, I think the right thing for SC to do is: Offer him seconds.

Apparently carpet baggers have a weak stomach

Most people in the South who get the shits don’t go to the hospital

They stop by the 5 to 10 and pick up a six pack

Where is the love for the Rick Santorum who is such an exemplar of the Right to Life movement? You would think all the Gosnell-haters would hang out together.

He must’ve been in town watching all those sweaty boys at Rec Day. He probably did shots and chased some skirt after. Just kidding. That’s as ludicrous as Ms. Graham chasing tail.
