By fitsnews – March 22, 2013A United States Marine killed two fellow military staffers (a male and a female) – and then himself – during a shooting rampage (standoff?) at the U.S. Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia.
What a sad, senseless tragedy, right?
Sure … and to think it could have all been averted had the federal government simply passed an assault weapons ban on members of the U.S. Marine Corps … or required them to limit their magazines to seven rounds. Or made them submit to more stringent background checks.
Also, the body count associated with this tragedy could have been cut in half had we not let women serve in the Marines.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein … where you at?
Don’t “lay down and play dead” on this issue …
Stand up! After all, if you take away guns from active duty Marines and there will be no way such a tragedy will ever repeat itself!
