Somebody better call the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) … because there’s clearly something in the water in the Palmetto State.

On the heels of our exclusive report detailing yet another sex scandal at one of our government-run schools, Upstate television WYFF TV-4 (NBC – Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.) has an exclusive of its own detailing a sex scandal in the town of Simpsonville, S.C.
According to WYFF reporter, the town’s police chief has been fired for attempting to discipline his subordinate – who was allegedly carrying on an affair with the town’s fire chief.
Keith Grounsell, Simpsonville’s police chief, was fired by the city last week. His assistant Colleen O’Neil (above) and the town’s fire chief,Wesley Williams, have been suspended – although the town has not indicated whether their suspensions have anything to do with their alleged affair. We’re going to find out soon enough, though, because the police chief who was fired has filed a wrongful termination suit against the city.

This broke out last week here in GSP (from that old dinosaur the “Greenville News” – I think last Sunday a week ago; that’d be 30 Dec 2012 if memory serves me correctly because I buy BOTH Sunday GSP papers;”Greenville News & Spartanburg herald/Journal every Sunday)
In the 30 Dec 2012 edition of “The Greenville News” the Simpsonville police chief who got canned was quoted as saying he had the goods on a shitload of his police force and the prior head cop.
Something about him spilling the beans on a bunch of people so the Simpsonville City Council fired him…………..
It would appear that the Fire Chief is also a little behind. That is, he is behind the Assistant Police Chief so to speak.
Probably checking out where he can hook up his hose. For the APC’s sake, hope the FC knows the difference between intake and discharge.
On second take make that more than a little for it appears the APC has more behind than a little. Pray tell the FC has enough hose to put out the APC’s fire.
It would indeed be a shame if the APC’s fire was beyond the FC’s ability to put it out and Peyton Place, sorry, Simpsonville burned downed.
Once again, South Carolina’s semi-incest rears it ugly head!!!
And some of you dare to slam West by God Virginia!!!
If I had a dollar for every cop or fire chief in South Carolina who is banging a subordinate(male or female), I could retire now instead of 2017!!
Plus, what do you expect coming from just about every small-medium sized town in South Carolina??

She was runner up for the job he ended up with.
She threatened a harassment suit against him.
He supposedly has pictures of her doing the dirty with the fire chief.
As it turns out, he is a hothead super zealous dickhead who doesn’t have the self-control or personal decorum to run a department
She seems about of the same caliber.
In the end, small-town budget attracts power-hungry half-asses who embarrass us all.
By the way, see the clip where the woman, one of the protestors speaking on the fired chiefs behalf (possibly his wife?) speaks to council on tape and says the following:
“I’m a christian woman but God-Damn ya’ll”

Sounds like the fire chief was only doing his job – putting out a fire!
