Remember S.C. Rep. Philip Lowe (RINO-Florence)?
He’s a member of the infinitely corrupt S.C. House “Ethics” Committee – which whitewashed a major scandal earlier this year for S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley (and is in the process of whitewashing another major scandal for S.C. Speaker Bobby Harrell).
Lowe is also the latest South Carolina Republican to post something comically stupid on social media – opining that it would have been better had Hurricane Sandy struck America next week during the 2012 presidential election.
“Whoever sent Hurricane Sandy should have asked for it next Tuesday, election day in the northeast,” Lowe wrote on his Facebook page early Sunday morning (presumably before heading off to church).

Lowe’s post – which has since been removed – is interesting for a couple of reasons. First of all there’s the obvious insensitivity of joking about impending natural disasters – which every politician should know better than to do. Buy beyond that Lowe has stepped in it with Bible-thumpers by questioning the sovereignty of God over the “winds and the waves.”
Seriously … who does he think sent the hurricane? Mohammed? Buddha? Pachamama?
Perhaps “Sikh Jesus” is to blame?
Earlier this week we ripped a group of liberals for playing politics with Hurricane Sandy … now it’s our turn to have some fun at Lowe’s expense.
Oh, and our guess is you can cue MSNBC outrage in 3, 2, 1 …

You may search the public records and find there was never any allegations of a sexual related allegation. He was chided for inappropriate communication by a text message with absolutely no sexual context.
Of course if you get your info from a rumor mill you could have been misled.
