TRIAL LAWYER CANDIDATE GETS RUDE GREETING FROM CANINE
We’ve long known that Columbia, S.C. attorney Joe McCulloch is nothing but a liberal trial lawyer looking to join the big spending “RINOcrat” establishment at the S.C. State House.
Apparently we’re not the only ones onto this shyster, though …
According to our sources, McCulloch was attacked by a dog during a recent campaign swing through his downtown Columbia, S.C. district – receiving a vicious bite that required seven stitches. McCulloch was said to have joked after the fact that he “got two votes” as a result of the ordeal – although it’s unclear whether these alleged commitments were made in response to the threat of litigation.
Kidding, kidding … we think.
Speaking of lawsuits, we were informed this week that McCulloch’s 2012 opponent – former City of Columbia, S.C. councilman Kirkman Finlay – will remain on the November ballot after Democratic efforts to toss his candidacy failed.
(Anybody up for “toss my candidacy” T-shirts? Anyone? Anyone?)
Anyway, that’s good news as far as we’re concerned as Finlay is one of the few Republicans running for the S.C. State House who has his head on straight … and who is beloved by canines the world ’round.
