Anarchy In Florida?

GOP CONVENTION TO BE TARGETED?

It’s not just a brewing Hurricane that “Republicans” will have to deal with when they gather in Tampa for their quadrennial national convention next week … according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the anarchists are coming, too.

According to a national intelligence bulletin obtained by CNN, anarchists are attempting to shut down bridges in the Tampa Bay area next week in an effort to disrupt Republicans as they nominate former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan to take on Barack Obama and Joe Biden in the fall.

The bulletin states that the anarchists plan on “engaging in potentially destructive criminal activities against critical infrastructure outside the security perimeter throughout the Tampa Bay region because they expected access to the main RNC venue to be tightly controlled.”

Similar disruptions may also be in the works for the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. next month.

“FBI and DHS assess with high confidence anarchist extremists will target similar infrastructure in Tampa and Charlotte, with potentially significant impacts on public safety and transportation,” the bulletin notes.

Is Florida ready for all this?

“Right now, there is not any anticipation there will be a cancellation,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott said this week. “We are going to have a great convention. We look forward to the delegates coming and we’re going to keep them safe.”
