“American Bombshell” Kate Upton – who celebrated her 20th birthday on June 10 – teamed up with GQ and celebrated photographer Terry Richardson for a scorching summer spread in the magazine’s July 2012 issue. Without exaggerating, this shoot gives new meaning to the term en fuego - hell, it almost restores our faith in America, people - with the Michigan native putting nearly every inch of her curvaceous assets on display for Richardson’s lens(es).

“It’s like any job,” Utpon told GQ of her modeling career. “You find your strengths and play them up.”

Upton also revealed her views on tattoos – giving some insight on the two examples of ink currently residing on her bodacious bod (a horseshoe on her wrist and a cross on the inside of her finger.)

“You have to think hard with a tattoo,” she says. “What will I love for the rest of my life? Horses and Jesus seem like safe bets.”
