Palladian View TEAM (Together Everyone Accomplishes Much) sends our heartfelt congratulations to Catherine Templeton on her appointment as South Carolina’s DHEC Commissioner. We know Catherine will do a great job for the people of South Carolina and expect to see and hear many great things from her tenure in the years to come.
Palladian View is appreciative of the many conservative women of South Carolina who have stood “shoulder-to-shoulder” with Mrs. Templeton. We are especially proud of teaming with the South Carolina of Federation Women who unanimously passed our resolution encouraging senators to stand together for Catherine. We appreciate their support in ending the Democratic filibuster, and confirming Catherine in an overwhelming bi-partisan vote that showed the strength of her qualifications.
Palladian View believes well-qualified conservative women should get a “fair shake” for any office to which they aspire, and Catherine Templeton was such. After two feature articles, an op-ed in The State newspaper, a standing-room-only crowd at the Medical Affairs Committee senate confirmation hearing, the resolution, and then one final day with several conservative women in the Senate balcony to watch the proceedings, Palladian View can say with gratification that another conservative woman has received her due based on her merit and credentials.
Palladian View’s efforts in support of Catherine Templeton is but the first in a passionate commitment to empowering conservative women by showcasing issues, promoting women, and providing a platform where women can see their voice.
