The city of Bamberg, S.C. – birthplace of S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley- now features its most famous/ notorious resident on its town marquees.
Really, Bamberg? You couldn’t have bestowed this honor upon a real local hero?
Anyway, the Bamberg Board of Public Works and the City of Bamberg split the $3,000 cost for the four signs – which are literally one cut above (or below, depending on your taste) the common roadside ad for the local whore house.
We’ll let our readers speculate on how long the signs stay up …

Greetings of the happiest gurus to you and all!
The honor of these signs in beautiful Bamberg is much more appropriate for Nikki Haley than the ugly bobbleheads from China, not India!
One small objection, please!
The signs, in my opinion, will be even better if they recorded, “Home of Nikki Haley — Governor-Goddess of South Carolina who we are all loving and worshipping so deeply each day of the year, 24/7!”
So you need bigger signs, Bambergian people of the Fourth World!
In my opinion, it is is possible for you to make even one sign as big as your tiny village!
It could extend from one stoplight to the other!
Go big or go home — to little Bamberg!
Also, another marker in the village should designate:
“On this spot future Governor-Goddess Nikki Haley was denied the opportunity to compete as the Little Miss Bamberg — an injustice still felt today by all humanity!”
History is forever!

I guess it must be some kind of public disclosure that you are about to enter an area that could be hazardous to your principles and morality.
Or it could be a subtle ‘Keep Out’ sign. You’re riding down the road and see the Birthplace of the Evil One sign and you immediately do a 180 and speed away. Highway department needs to widen the shoulders to help with the u-turns and turn-arounds.

I wondered when you would get to this Sic….I have to look at it everytime I visit the jobsite in Bamberg.
But I can tell you I deal with some there that don’t appreciate the sign.

Oh Hell No! I’m from Bamberg. I hope I find an alternate route into my hometown to visit Mom. The less that I see of her, the better my blood pressure is. For four days that I spend in Florida, July 2011, I didn’t care what happened in South Carolina or the stupid stuff that came out of SC Governot Nikki Haley’s mouth! It was a great disconnect to see history happen again.
