Off of their debut album Is This It, here are The Strokes with “Hard to Explain,” a song that’s got a lyrical reference to the Carolinas … (probably not in a good way, though).
One of the first bands to embrace the stripped down garage sound, The Strokes released three equally brilliant albums from 2001-06 (Is This It, Room On Fire and First Impressions of Earth) before taking an extended break.
Their fourth album – originally supposed to be released in late 2009 – is now scheduled to come out in March of this year.
