Not to diminish the legacy of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, but we’ve always felt that drummer David Grohl emerged from the ashes of the original grunge band as a much better songwriter. Of course it’s impossible to know what songs Cobain might have written, isn’t it?
These guys could have been a Lennon and McCartney for our time.
