If there’s one thing we love more than women, sports and politics … it’s music.
Okay, okay … “if there’s one thing we love more than sports and politics,” it’s music.
Sorry …
Music is in our blood, though. And for those of you unfamiliar with the lore of our founding editor, he really was a rock star. Or at least he thought he was … which if you think about it isn’t much different from how he thinks of himself today.
Anyway, one of our favorite(st) parts of FITS is the fact that we get to post a new song every day … making this website our own little jukebox. Until today, anyway.
In the spirit of inviting all sorts of new ideas (political and otherwise) into this little corner of the marketplace, we wanted to start opening the floor to your song suggestions.
Seriously, just send us the name of your favorite song (along with a YouTube link) and we’ll give it a listen. In addition to rock, rap, oldies, jam, blues, pop, classic, etc. we’ll even consider posting certain country music songs, although we do tend to eschew atonal auditory abortions (sort of like we eschew chewing tobacco and sex with relatives).
You can post your “Today’s Tunage” suggestions in the comments section below, or you can email them to our founding editor if you’d like to keep your love of Hall and Oates (or Hoodoo Gurus) confidential …
