“The Great Beyond” was always one of our favorite songs from R.E.M.’s major label catalog.
Recorded for the Man on the Moon soundtrack in 1999 (damn … has it been that long?), it’s another tune about Andy Kaufman – the practical joker who gained fame during the 1970s for his bizarre antics on live television.
