With a possible fourth allegation of marital infidelity about to be leveled against S.C. Republican gubernatorial nominee Nikki Haley, we figured now was as good a time as any to take stock of what FITS readers are making of all these claims.
Frankly,we didn’t believe any of them (not even our founding editor’s claim) when we heard them for the first time, but over the course of the last few months our perception has changed – even as it relates to Larry Marchant’s claim (which we viewed with considerable skepticism initially given his role as manager of an opposing campaign).
Will this “evolution of perception” take place regarding the rumors currently swirling about Haley and blogger Earl Capps?
We’ll have to wait and see how that particular story unfolds …
Anyway, while we maintain that lying about sex isn’t that big of a deal, Haley has clearly staked her political future on the fact that she has been 100 percent faithful to her husband. Should that prove to be anything less than 100 percent true, then Haley risks losing not only her sixteen-point lead in the 2010 gubernatorial race but any shot at a national office down the road.

As a life long resident of Lexington, I will tell you that people in this town know who’s sleeping with who. I believe that a person who can lie to their spouse about adultery is a person who can easily lie to the citizens of SC. I am a person who travels in the many of the same social circles as Haley. Many here believe that she has a sexual addiction issue. Sexual addiction is an obsessive compulsive disorder which can affect both men and women. Often another disorder, pathological lying, accomapanies the first. The person starts to believe their own lies. Both disorders are for forms of mental illness. Hopefully her loved ones with get some help for her. But she has no place being governor of this state.

Fourth allegation…? The Thad Viers Bull Shit has never verified, asserted or indicated publicily by anyone, anywhere other than this site? So can we really even count that one. The Earl Capps one seems to have as much legs a salamander, and I really hate Nikki Haley. Nonetheless, I get it, b.s. allegations against Haley, or maybe even true ones, are actually helping her campaign.

There is help for her, if she wants it. The therapy works for some, not all. This behavior (disorder) is an ingrained behavior.

I have never seen Will’s wife, but many have said she is really pretty. Probably really nice also. I’ve met Will’s brother-in-law and he was quite handsome, so I’m assuming good looks run in the family. Some of you think Nikki is pretty…I do not. My grandmother always said “pretty is, as pretty does”. Nikki hasn’t been acting very pretty lately.

R, I guess the only REAL evidence would be photos, tapes, or emails. I say where there is smoke, there is fire. It’s up to you to believe or not. However, I have seen the way she throws herself at men in Lexington for a few years now. Now, I am not talking about just any men. I am referring to the affluent. Men with money and power. My good friend D….. has a husband who is wealthy and well known. I saw Nikki acting very inappropriately with him, while his wife stood there. There was a little scene.
