The grassroots organization Gun Owners of America has endorsed S.C. Rep. Nikki Haley in the 2010 gubernatorial race, citing her consistent support for the Second Amendment rights of South Carolinians.
“Nikki Haley stands 100% behind the rights of South Carolina’s gun owners and sportsmen,” said GOA Vice-Chairman Tim Macy. “In particular, Rep. Haley strongly supports concealed carry of firearms by law-abiding citizens and will work to ease unreasonable restrictions on CWP holders.”
Gun Owners of America boasts more than 300,000 members nationwide, according to its news release endorsing Haley.
“The right to bear arms was deemed so critical by our Founders that they spelled it out in absolute terms, and it is my belief that any governmental action that undermines that right is in turn undermining the very freedoms that built our great nation,” Haley said. “I hold a Concealed Weapons Permit myself, and as governor, I will continue to fight against any government infringement on the 2nd Amendment.”

If someone is convicted of Criminal Domestic Violence they are no longer able to apply for a CWP
in SC. And if they have a CWP they have to surrender it to SLED. So, that leaves a lot
of people out of the gun owners group here in the wife-beater region of SC. I believe you are not even able to purchase a firearm from a dealer with the aforementioned conviction.

I try to always keep 5k rounds at hand. I have fallen below that level over the past year and a half due to calibration and just plain old fun. If anyone ever had an affair wth my wife, I would have even less. At least 2 rounds less.

I chose not to register a carry permit. It’s just another list that I prefer not to be on. I carry when I feel the need. If I get in trouble, I’ll plead the 2nd.

I wouldn’t even be surprised to hear WHERE she conceals it.
