U.S. Reps. Jim Clyburn and John Spratt both received perfect “100″ scores from the AFL-CIO during the 2009 legislative session, meaning they voted in favor of every single item on the powerful union’s wish list (including the “stimulus,” “cap and trade” energy tax and “Obamacare”).
That’s nothing new for Clyburn, who boasts a lifetime 97 percent rating from the AFL-CIO, but it does mark yet another example of Spratt’s ongoing shift to the socialist side of the political spectrum – as the York County Democrat’s lifetime rating is a much lower 82 percent.
Translation?
There was a time Spratt was willing to buck the far left to serve the best interests of his constituents … a time which has clearly passed.
Among Republicans, U.S. Rep. Henry Brown received an 11 percent score from the organization, while Reps. Bob Inglis, Gresham Barrett and Joe Wilson all voted with the union just 5 percent of the time.

If it brings jobs they can blow the union bosses in Macy’s window for all I care. It’s the economy stupid.
