Nearly one in five Americans believe that U.S. President Barack Obama is a Muslim, according to the results of a Pew Research Center poll that was conducted before he came out in support of a controversial mosque near “Ground Zero” in New York City. Meanwhile, only 34 percent of Americans identify Obama as a Christian – which is the religion he professes (and which has landed him in hot water previously given his former pastor‘s controversial comments).
In March of 2009, the Pew Center found that only 11 percent of Americans believed Obama was a Muslim (he’s not … at least we don’t believe that he is) while 48 percent believed he was a Christian.
The White House’s “faith advisor” – Joshua DuBois – blamed Obama’s political opponents for launching “misinformation campaigns,” and said that Obama “has been diligent and personally committed to his own Christian faith.”
In addition to questions about his religious beliefs, many Americans still refuse to accept that Obama was born in the United States.
Frankly, we could care less about where Obama was born or where he worships (or doesn’t worship) … we are unilaterally opposed to his administration based on its unprecedented fiscal liberalism and outright contempt for individual liberty and the American free market.

Obama was born to a Muslim father and did spend his formative years worshipping in a mosque and praying 5Xday to allah while in Muslim Indonesia.
Under universally accepted Muslim law, if one is born to a Muslim father then one is born Muslim.
Obama’s mother’s religion is irrelevant.

I have argued on this site that the health care plan was sop for the insurance companies. The requirement that all must purchase insurance was put in place to protect those companies by preventing healthy workers (PROFITS!!!) from opting out of the system. A single payer system is preferable to me but currently politically impossible.
Card check prevents management from intimidating workers out of organizing to protect their interests. But I wouldn’t expect that folks from a “right to work” state like SC would understand.

The Muslim stuff is stupid, but it is not a great mystery why people would say they do not know if he is a Christian. Since he got elected, the man never goes to church and never talks about his faith. Even prior to the election, his defense to the Rev. Wright stuff was basically “I never really went to church, so I did not hear any of the crazy racist rants.”

Obama’s grandmother is a Muslim. But that’s not the problem. Even the media doesn’t have problems with Obama. The group of people who have problems with Obama are those who’re very fond of the worldly pleasures and are so in love of the materials that they have no interest in Peace. Obama is a peace loving man unlike g.w. bush who wanted war all the time, he started war with Afghanistan, he started war with Iraq and to justify it he killed 5000 people of his own country who were busy to work for him in the wtc. But that war gave that material-loving group of people a huge benefit. Obama doesn’t give that benefit so he’s the target now in the media and in politics sooner or later. And speaking of deprivation of liberty, What about passing a law forcing me to help pay for someone else’s kid to go to private school. While I am no real fan of the health care bill at I am forced to buy something I can benefit from, am going to buy anyway, and am nuts not to buy. Under HaleyEd, I am forced to help Joe Slack Ass’s kids pay for their private school. What the heck am I getting from that. Oh, yea, the same benefit I got helping Joe pay for his emergency room visit.

Card check should work the same way against unions who intimidate workers,too. The thug unions are a blight on the economy. But I wouldn’t expect Crooner would understand that as he probably lives with his mom. Worker claims against management are much easier to enforce or sue against than Jimmy Hoffa.

If you are making the libertarian objection to having to pay taxes to send someone else’s child to school, then you should object to even having public schools (or at a minimum, you should object to forcing anyone without school age children to pay for them). Once you accept the premise that we should levy taxes to provide for the education of our children, then it should make no difference whether the child attends a public or private school. The only concern should be whether the school is doing its job. Quite obviously, a substantial portion of our public schools fail that simple test. Trapping students who cannot afford private school in our public school system because of your preconceived notions of private schools is an unnecessary deprivation of liberty.

Since he would have to do this 5 times a day to be a practicing Muslim, you would expect there to be photos of it, and you would also expect that Obama would not schedule anything during prayer times. So to those dumbshits like theo who think he must be a Muslim because his father was a Muslim (guess theo’s father was a dumbshit too), please provide evidence of Obama’s daily prayers to Mecca five times a day every day.

1) How in the world do you see the President doing anything? Is he on camera 24/7 like a reality
show? What channel can I watch him on? Dish or cable?
2) Do you have access to his calendar/day planner? Five short prayer breaks hardly anyone would notice. I hear that the bathroom off of the Lincoln Bedroom faces east and that he keeps a prayer mat rolled up behind the toilet.
