By FITSNews || An elected councilman in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina is at the heart of a federal investigation into a drug ring that at one time reached all the way to Florida, multiple sources tell FITS.
Our informants declined to identify the councilman by name (for fear of political retribution), but they claim that several previous attempts to link this official to the alleged drug ring failed after witnesses refused to testify. That could change soon, however, as the government reportedly has a star witness ready to spill the beans and blow the case wide open.
Corruption in South Carolina’s rural municipalities is rampant, but things are particularly bad in the Pee Dee – where unemployment is high, academic achievement is the low and the vast majority of the population is dirt poor. Unfortunately, the crop of local leaders who are elected to deal with these problem are generally of low moral character and limited effectiveness.
Last year, for example, we exposed the sad saga surrounding the town of Cheraw, S.C., where a former State Solicitor was busted for allegedly misappropriating public money. In May of this year, former Lee County Sheriff EJ Melvin was charged with running a drug ring out of his taxpayer-funded office. And just last week, a S.C. Highway Patrolman in the Pee Dee was arrested for possession of cocaine and LSD.
Could this mystery councilman be next?

At the very nucleus of this matter, you’ll find a narcissists who, in an effort to draw attention away from himself, to empower himself, and to justify himself, has drawn these other individuals whose names are often mentioned in these posts, into it’s drama and uses them to carry out his deeds. Case in point, the recent episode involving the current solicitor employee and past solicitor employee. The very deeds that this narcissist refuses to do, or is to weak to do himself he delegates to those within his camp. He has self appointed himself as the comptroller of their lives, and this includes people from the bottom of the food chain all the way to the very top, even those who should be intellectual enough to understand that they have become pawns. You who allow him to mold and direct you through his propaganda and led to believe that you are doing something noble. All the while, you are nothing but a conduit of his sewage. So many times in our history, we’ve seen this play out over and over again. The conduits have shown a need for attention and empowerment and the narcissist feeds that need. Think you’re not being used representative, sheriff, police chief, solicitor, business person, citizen? Think about this, in your sub conscience a seed has been planted by the narcissist, occasionally he only has to “water it” and you, almost like a robotic machine, carry out his wishes. At the end of it all, you’ll find that narcissist and you’ll find those he used, they’re disappointed with themselves for haven fallen under his spell, but by then it is too late, they’ve inflicted their damage, they’ve caused the hurt and the narcissist has accomplished his goal.. to use you as his arrow with the poisoned tip. If it is worthy of your time, think about who is always at the center of these posts, think about the energy that person expends daily, at some point he’ll become careless, exhausted and in light of the recent events, I say that time is near.

There’s corruption everywhere, including your former lover taking money for influence peddling.
Your former State Treasure was corrupt. Your former state Ag commisioner was corrupt. And you think you have a scoop that the Pee Dee stands out as being corrupt. Gimme a break.

the solution is going back to that old piece of paper called the Constitution and enforcing the real rules of law, including putting corrupt politicans in jail in orange jumpsuits. after all if lindsey graham wants whistleblowers in jail, he oughta support corrupt officials being jailed in orange too.

Hmmmm why would the website CherawConfidential have the same url server as GoUnitedCountry.com is it because both of them belong to or are run by the Micheals? Hmm a bit of checking shows that the URL registration and hosting for the cherawconfidential is on the same dns server settings as GoUnitedCountry.com as well as 2nsure.com And these are run by Rodney Michaels. Who has recently been given an order by the SC Attorney General’s office to cease his crooked business practices. Seems the blogger who wants to spill all the dirt on others has gotten alot of it on himself. Tell us oh CherawConfidential why the Attorney General is interested in lil ole Cheraw?

Also, a lot of drugs come through the state via HWY 52. HWY 52 covers Goose Creek to Florence….some of that is the Pee Dee area.

Well, despite my wife’s objections here go I, and JT before you start, no I’m no Michaels. I know the Michaels but I only like two of them. Thats Rodney and his mommy. I’m sure Rodney has done some wrong, so have I, but I also know Rodney has done some right. I got to know him about 10 years ago when I was going through a crisis, he helped me save my home, bought groceries for me and my family, lended me a car and listened to me when I needed it most. Last year when I lost my job he gave me $500 and to this day every time I mention paying him, he tells me to spend it on my family. Ever time I talk to him he ask me is there anything he can do for me and I know he means it because of what he has done for me over the years. I know some people will take what i write and try to turn it around, but thats ok, I’m writing this for Rodney. I’m sure he would do the same for me.
