Promoting a vision for our state would be the right thing for Haley to do as a leader, but it would be the wrong thing to do as a candidate. Doing so would simply provide a target for the opposition and keep Haley on defense throughout the campaign. The best way for a politician to avoid lies is to avoid specifics.
