You know what? Obama is so utterly and completely full of sh*t on this issue that the friggin’ focus group-tested talking points he “rolled out” in an effort to appease his crumbling left flank really don’t deserve serious treatment.
“I’m ready to move forward, the majority of Democrats are ready to move forward and I believe the majority of Americans are ready to move forward,” Obama said.
Huh? A year-and-a-half after his election, this is the first time Obama has raised the issue of immigration reform. Now he’s ready to “move forward?”
Please.
What took you so long, hombre?
The political reality is that Obama was too busy passing bailouts, deficit-busting budgets and socialized medicine to pay attention to immigration reform, and he’s only addressing it now because new state laws – like the one passed in Arizona – have forced his hand. Ready for the irony? All the “controversial” Arizona law does is enforce existing federal law – which means Obama could have been “moving forward” a long time ago.
Also, as far as we can tell Obama’s proposals mirror the garbage that was being pushed by U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham earlier this year, which would have required U.S. workers to obtain a biometric identification card while giving 11 million illegal immigrants a “path to citizenship.”
UPDATE: It has just been brought to our attention that we have not laid out a policy of our own regarding immigration. For years, we’ve blasted politicians who have pandered on this issue, so rather than pander, we’ve come up with a simple, three-step process. 1) Build a wall. 2) Toss people here illegally on the other side of it. 3) Repeat step 2 as needed.

Easy solution to illegal immigration: illegal immigrants represent a clear and present threat to the national security and are by viture of their numbers an invading army from Mexico. We are ineffect in a state on undeclared war with Mexico (not a first, Remember Pancho Via?). Rounding up illegals and treating them as what they are-terrorists is the perfect solution. How? How does any country treat terrorists that come in from a neighboring country? They execute them!! It wouldn’t take but a few dead illegals and one of two things will occur: 1)illegals will flee this country in mass for fear of their lives or 2)we will have the coming 2nd civil war, b ut this time it will be anywhere one finds Mexicans (not just illegals) and it won’t just be in the south or the west.

Here’s an economic recovery plan for you.
Send the 11,000,000 illegals back to where they came from.
Increase our military by whatever number is necessary to CLOSE THE F’ING BORDERS! The illegals are bad enough but if 11,000,000 of them can get in, think how many terrorists can as well!
Instant job creation both by openings created by the departing illegals and the military added to police the borders. Not to mention all the benefits of businesses and governments at all levels, due to not having to support illegals with healthcare, education, welfare, food stamps, and on and on.

By the way, we don’t need an expensive wall. A high voltage electrified fence works for me. Or a marine sniper every 500 yards or so, with a shoot on sight rules of engagement. Shoot them and if they were on US soil just move them back across the border and let the vultures take care of disposal. Skeletons all along the border would be a great deterent.

You could drop by the quick-mark and pick up a $1 winna-luza ticket – based on whether the gang coming through camera zone 55 between certain 1-hour time-slots would successfully make the climb or zzzzapppoww. Pass, don’t-pass, Exacta, quinilla, and the high-paying trifecta would be available based on the order they start the climb and the order they pass or don’t pass. Could raise some good revenue.
We could use that money for free transportation for those who come though the legal work-permit entrance and carry their passport.

With the economy in the dumper, stocks falling like a rock and NOT getting better despite all the spending, with unemployment continuing to rise, with Congress talking tax hikes (breaking another campaign pledge) with European countries for crying out loud bailing on the “let’s spend our way out of this” plan, with oil still spewing in the Gulf and this administration MIA on it, with Joe Biden out there pissing down his own leg once again, calling people “dumbasses” and Republicans “nazis,”…I know – LET’S CHANGE THE SUBJECT!!!
And let’s change it to immigration reform, of all things. All you need to know is this president sided with Mexico against Arizona’s immigration law (which is supposed to do exactly what the Feds are supposed to do), his top deputies HAD NOT EVEN READ IT before they started flapping their yaps condemning it and Dums have controlled Congress since 2007 and not raised a finger to fix it.
So the idea that Jimmy Obama and the Dums are serious (finally) about substantive immigration reform is back-slapping hilarious.

This president has no capacity for long term thinking. He may very well offer up 11 million new voters for the democrat party. But at what cost long term. This IS a national security issue. Actually, if you think about it we are framing it in the wrong manner. This really isn’t about illegal immigration. This is about national security and we had better get that through our heads. Radical muslim terrorists really won’t give a damn what you think or what kind of civil rights you have when they are setting off cars bombs will they.
