By FITSNews || Assuming she wins the Republican gubernatorial nomination next Tuesday (which is sort of like assuming the sun will come up next Tuesday), S.C. Rep. Nikki Haley will enter the general election against Democratic gubernatorial nominee Vincent Sheheen with a commanding lead.
According to the results of a new Rasmussen Reports poll, Haley currently enjoys a 55-34 percent advantage over Sheheen among likely voters.
For those of you educated in South Carolina public schools – that’s a whopping 21-point margin.
Wait … 55 minus 34 equals … yup, 21 points.
Meanwhile Haley’s “rival” for the Republican nomination, U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett, enjoys a much smaller 46-38 percent advantage over Sheheen.
