Boz Martin, Definition of Caucasian: a. Anthropology Of or being a human racial classification distinguished especially by very light to brown skin pigmentation and straight to wavy or curly hair, and including peoples indigenous to Europe, northern Africa, western Asia, and India.

Basically anyone that is not black or oriental. The people of S America were not Caucasian, but they have been mixed so with the Spanish they really are now…but they can be debated either way.

Therefore, Haley is a Caucasian, but in American society we tend to put people in groups due to ignorance of anthropology.

But I agree with you Knotts is trying to pull a she looks like an inferior minority…Which he doesn’t need to do, because their are so many political reasons one could attack her on for not being qualified to be Governor.

Sihks may be an ethnic group and not a race, Sandlapper, but is that group not technically a part of a non-caucasian race? Please correct me if I’m wrong about this. If this is correct, however, perhaps Jake’s words were merely and appeal to racially-based suspician and hatred, or just good old-fashined race-baiting.

At any rate, sadly, the Obama administration and or its flacks has taken much of the meaning out of the term “racist” anyway, by applying it to any and all critics of the POTUS, even when the criticism is actually based on policy, ideology or leadership skills.

Please…………….just take a look at the facts. Her white SUV parked at all hours at Sic Willie’s pad. Many times. Several times. Many several times from what I READ!!!All I want is for her to find her God and tell the truth. She made a mistake. Lied about it. Etc. She is sorry.

Geeeez…..we ARE on Sic Willie’s site. He started it. I’m blaming him.

WorkingTommyC, Your well written and thoughtful post above (on June 13th, 2010 at 8:36 am) was spot on. It clearly laid out my thoughts on this whole anti-Haley campaign. Particularly your observation on how the “attacks here and on other threads…… show…. how contemptible the character of her opposition is.” Very nice post indeed.
