Oh that’s right … Solicitor. In the Pee Dee (where we have some history covering Solicitors). Anyway, here are some pics of Parham at the annual Galivants Ferry Stump meeting, which in case anybody has forgotten is a Democratic event …

First of all, nice stems honey … f’ real! Second of all, not that this is really that big of a deal, but one of those pictures shows Parham with U.S. Poverty Pimp … err, Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, a man we’re guessing would have been poorly received at most of the events on Parham’s campaign schedule. Like the Tea Party rally she attended last month, for example, or the SCGOP’s “Silver Elephant” banquet, which she attended last weekend … again, because she’s running as a Republican.
Some sources tell FITS that Parham and her husband have given to Democrats in the past, which again – blah blah blah. This is the Pee Dee, people … they’re all Democrats, something the region’s real poverty pimp demonstrates on a daily basis in Columbia.
Plus, as the source who leaked us the pictures said, “she’s hot.”
We concur. Heartily …
Also, to her credit Parham didn’t try to hide her dip in the Democratic pond – posting a “Tweet” about it on her Twitter page. Now if she could just lend a little sunshine as to where she picked up those heels … (rrrawrrr!)

Agree 100% with you that Rosemary Parham is attractive but am lost by the criticism. Why not solicit votes from the “other side?” Or, do you suggest that no democrats should vote for republican candidates? Wouldn’t it be better if the offices like Solicitor, Sheriff, and Adjutant General were non-polictical and not party or agenda driven?

I love Rose Mary Parham! I think that is GREAT that she shows EVERYONE she is willing to cooperate without labeling them. I can share with you THE REAL Rose Mary Parham: (1) PROSECUTOR: With a prosection rate that speaks LOUDLY, she is a much needed asset for the Solicitor’s office; (2) MOTHER: As a mother of five children, I admire her. She is not only sane…she is very happy and loves motherhood. (I take frequent motherly advice from her); (3) FRIEND: Rose Mary has a heart of gold, and that is probably why she is misunderstood in this case. She is a friend to ALL people, regardless of their age or their party. She actually is one of the rare ones that abides by the Christian principle “DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU” (aka The Golden Rule); and (4) FASHIONISTA: Rose Mary has SERIOUS style. I actually get fashion tips from her, because she can make any event look great! Her taste in shoes is impeccable! A pretty lady in heels that can prosecute great, cook great, look great, and handle five children, GOTTA LOVE HER, GOTTA VOTE FOR HER!

Great Pictures!…I loved this article…….”Beauty, brains and courage…..that Rose Mary Parham has all the qualities the 12Th Circuit constituents need in a “Good Solicitor”. Remember, crime victims are Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives,Liberals,Independents and yes even Libertarians . Imagine a Republican candidate with the courage to accept an invitation to the historic Marion County Galivants Ferry Democrat Stump Meeting. Amazing, I guess she was the only Republican Candidate there? Not! Rose Mary Parham stands ready to dispense justice, and where appropriate mercy,for a safer Florence and Marion County and yes,she is a ‘Republican’ who can even be civilized to the Majority Whip. “

Those would not be Secret Serive or SLED agents. If they are Clyburn’s actual detail they are capital police – who do protect certain (higher level) congress person’s outside of the Capitol as well as in Washington.

Betty–Of course I know political contributions are public record. I wouldn’t have posted my first comment unless I had verified for myself what I’ve been hearing about Rose Mary Parham’s history of donations to Democrats.
But honestly, it doesn’t matter in the long-run (provided a candidate doesn’t lie about it)…the solicitor’s office is decidedly nonpartisan anyway.

That’s is part of his security detail. There are 3 or 4 of them not 1 or 2. I recognized two of them in those photos. Last Sept my family and I were staying in Charleston for the weekend at the same hotel. He was there for a family reunion. I presented myself and what I did. He was very gracious and we spoke for about 5 minutes. All the while his security people were scanning the area.(like they are supposed to do.)They were not hiding nor where they drawing attention to themselves. They were very professional to say the least.
F.Y.I. It’s my understanding that he USED to be a Republican back in the very early 60′s. That information is from someone here in Florence that would know.

First of all, congratulations to all people who genuinely cross party lines when they deem it the right thing to do. Sanford should have tried that. We all want the best in our political leaders–honesty, integrity and steadfast perseverance.
However, Stephanie Rawlinson is the bitch who stole Christmas, and for that reason, anyone associated with her….Well, when you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas. Someone should tie the heifer down and stick a golden ruler up her ass.
