By FITSNews || University of North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams found himself on our radar screen five months ago when it was revealed that he was carrying a rather large amount of sand in his vagina. What did Williams do, exactly? Well, you can read all about it here, but he basically turned himself into college basketball’s version of Joseph Stalin, appropriating dictatorial powers over visiting fans at the Dean Dome.
Anyway, karma did not respond kindly, as Williams’ Tar Heels watched their season implode following the incident. In fact, North Carolina posted an abysmal 12-15 record following Williams’ attempt to “go gulag” on opposing fans, including a 5-11 mark in ACC games.
All that losing obviously tired Williams out, which is why he’s enjoying a little “R & R” at some resort in Arizona, according to a picture posted on Deadspin.
Yikes …

I think Roy Williams is a cool guy and perhaps the best coach in America. Probably shouldn’t have gone off on the guy from PC — but, you know, I think most all the coaches at that level are a bit on the crazy side.
Anyway, I am confident that the Tar Heels will be back….and very soon.
