A New RINO Label?

i heart dick

By FITSNews || We throw out the term “RINO” (Republican in Name Only) quite frequently around here.  In fact, some say it’s a label that we’re too “liberal” with … as it relates to politicians at both the national and at the state level.

Our answer to that?

Not our fault …

In fact, based on the way “Republicans” gang-raped taxpayers during the Bush years (and the way South Carolina “Republicans” continue gang-raping them during the Leatherman years), it’s amazing we don’t use the acronym more than we do.  And while our methodology for determining a politicians’ “RINOsity” is pretty simple (duh, their votes), it has been suggested to us that term itself needs an upgrade.

One possible replacement for the “RINO” label was used recently on the national blog Ace of Spades in reference to U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham.

What was it?  DIC.

For “Democrat in (the) Closet,” of course.

Dispensing with the obvious double entendre as it relates to Graham, what do y’all think?

We kind of like it … if for no other reason than it would give us plenty of double entendre opportunities of our own.

For example, anytime a RINO raised taxes, fees, fines or grew government unnecessarily, we could say things like “that politician is a DIC” or “what a DIC move.”  Oh, and anytime a fence-sitting Republican sided with the RINOs, we could accuse them of “sucking DIC.”

Ha!

This could be fun …

What should we call "Republicans" who vote like Democrats?

Let’s call them ex-legislators. Like in my district. “Ex- Senator” Wes Hayes. God I love the sound of that.

I agree with your assessment of National and State RINO’s. They need a wake up call and I think it will come.

The T-shirt reminds me of one I saw in a Chicago parade of the early seventies. Richard J. Daley was mayor at the time.
A group of feminists were in the parade, carrying signs that read:
    “WE LOVE OUR DICK DALEY.”

Not only were they expressing their preference for the ole “man stick,” medicine, they were recommending the dosage.
    Good for them.

Sorry, still like RINO. I would be in favor of educating the rest of this country to use Democrat party instead of Democratic party.. for obvious reasons.

While comfortable with the RINO, the DIC seems an insult to the others in the closets…

Maybe Democrats In the Closet Klavern… considering Robert Byrd’s history and which partyt’s members and candidates were most likely to have been lynched by the KKK (not one white Democrat was ever lynched, though blacks and Republicans populate the statistics).

In the words of The Bloodhound Gang “All-in-all you’re just another ‘DIC’ with no balls” set to the tune of Pink Floyd’s Another Brick In the Wall, of course.

Ain’t it the truth, though? How often do you find a politician with the cajones to stand up and do the right thing?

Why choose between RINO and DIC? RINO-DIC is a vivid, grotesque image. And these are grotesque, damaging people.
