By FITSNews || The jury is still out on whether Tim Tebow will be an effective NFL quarterback, but he’s currently leading all rookies at the league’s cash register.

According to NFLShop.com, Denver Broncos’ jerseys featuring Tebow are selling like hot cakes …

Other strong sellers include Detroit Lions’ defensive end Ndamukong Suh (No. 90), top overall pick Sam Bradford (St. Louis Rams, No. 8), former Tennessee safety Eric Berry (Kansas City Chiefs, No. 29) and former Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys, No. 88).

Tebow will wear No. 15, the same number he wore in college with the Florida Gators.

Shows that in the whole, people support a good guy. It’s just the hater loosers that post all the nasty rants. Its like they complain about the NFL criminals, but root for them at the same time.Makes no sense.

Guess people saw through the “talk” and actually looked at his skills and that is exactly why he didnt get picked high in the draft….yawn

Actually, he was never expected to go very high in the draft. He ended up getting picked before most thought he would be. I believe he was projected to be a late second or early third round pick, although I may even be generous with that.

Seems like a good kid, and it will be interesting to see if his mechanical deficiencies can be overcome to make him a real starter, or if he’ll end up being used in some wildcat-like formations, or as a serviceable backup.

The Cowboys haven’t retired Michael Irvin’s number? Bryant has big shoes to fill!

May lead in jersey sales, but there are plenty of other flops with jerseys floating around (but kudos for making some early merch money!)

Tim’s fairly low wonderlic score intrigued me more than anything at the combine, they always talked about this kid like he was a brainiac – 22? I tried it and got a 33 – and I’m no rocket scientist.

Michael Irvin’s Number? Try Drew Pearson’s number, young’un. The Cowboys don’t retire numbers, but if they did it would have been retired before Mister Irvin arrived.
