By FITSNews || S.C. politico Wes Donehue – who has gone to great lengths to sever his ties with veteran RINO (Republican in Name Only) political consultant Warren Tompkins – launched his new company Donehue Direct on Thursday.
With the slogan “Where Wild Ideas Win,” the site features a rather cheeky monkey as its mascot … which of course means we will refer to the company from this point forward as “Cheeky Monkey Communications.”
Donehue, who along with FITS designer Nancy Mace is one of the top new media professionals in the Palmetto state, has gone to great pains to separate himself from Tompkins – whose client roster is almost without exception stocked with establishment politicians who support larger government and higher taxes.
Clearly, that’s not a winning campaign message in the current electoral climate.
Accordingly, Donehue is clearly seeking to ingratiate himself with a broader spectrum of candidates, although sources tell FITS that his public split from Tompkins is “just for show” and that his strings are still being pulled by the RINO master.
Currently, Donehue’s client roster includes the SCGOP, the S.C. Senate “Republican” Caucus and U.S. Rep. Addison Graves “Joe” Wilson.
