Steele Implosion Continues

By FITSNews ||  The ongoing implosion of National Republican Committee Chairman Michael Steele continued unabated on Monday when he played the “race card” during a Good Morning America interview that was supposed to help him right his sinking ship.

Asked if he has a “slimmer margin of error” because he’s black, here’s what Steele had to say:

The honest answer is, ‘yes.’ Barack Obama has a slimmer margin. A lot of folks do. It’s a different role for me to play and others to play and that’s just the reality of it. But you take that as part of the nature of it.

Steele is under fire for a pair of scandals with sexual overtones – the RNC picking up a $2,000 strip club bill and the accidental inclusion of a phone sex number on a political mailing.  Prior to that, he was facing heat for what many view as lavish spending on travel and parties – charges he also addressed by playing the race card.

“I don’t see stories about internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation,” Steele told the Washingtonian magazine last month. “Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?”

Sheesh.

Whatever limited amount of respect we once had for this man is gone.

Republicans are supposed to be the party of personal responsibility – not politically-correct excuses.

Of course, Republicans were also supposed to be the party of limited government and more individual liberty … two concepts that former President George W. Bush clearly failed to comprehend.

Now if Katon would just run again so we could finally put some common sense, good leadership and management skills back into the RNC. I would be willing to beat that in a re-match between Katon and Steele, there would be a totally different outcome and this time it wouldn’t even be close…teg

If you don’t believe the black man had a shorter leash you are living in denial. Remember at the start when the RNC considered not giving him the traditional control of finances?

Of course, Steele was also elevated to the Chair because he was black, so…

Slimmer margin or error because he’s black, my ass. He would have been fired many moons ago if he weren’t black.

And that was no run-of-the-mill strip club. It was a lesbian, bondage strip club. Steele was trying to make the GOP tent more inclusive, no doubt.

Steele just proves that Katon Dawson was the best choice to begin with for RNC CHairman. I hear RNC executive committee members are contacting Katon about a possible re-match for RNC Chairman.

If only the Republicans had a coherent message, but since they don’t, why not go to lesbian domination sex clubs and spend the money fools given to them by fools?

    Term: Black Magic

Definition: Ability to convince thousands of people to give you their money whereby one can fly around the world in a private jet, ride only in chauffeured limos, stay only in five star hotels, eat private chef prepared meals and for entertainment watch supple young females lick each other’s pussy.

    Truly the American Dream.

I’m miffed that Steele won’t let me be in his entourage.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    This is rich!

The RNC put this clown in as a counterpoint to President Barack Hussein Obama.

Now Steele has proven he is inept, but they can’t fire him!

    Affirmative action, baby, RNC-style!

Steele can go the Joe Scarborough route (dead intern in RNC office) and they STILL would not be able to fire him!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The Republican Party: Lesbian hookers (they won’t say “NO” to that!)
…with a side order of personal responsibility
(’cause ya know they got to pay that bill!)!
Oh…isn’t John Ensign head (hee, hee!) of the Hospitality Committee?
    If not, he should be!
    Maybe he could go undercover…;-)

Too bad Steele doesn’t have the wherewithal to resign and let someone else step in and take over. The guy seems like a nice guy but in the end he didn’t get the job done.

If I ever get a job that involves five-star hotels and cuisine, private jets, and hot lesbians (and I certainly hope to one day) you can bet your last dollar on this earth I wouldn’t resign either. You’d have to cart my carcass out of that office toes first on a board. All the benefits of the rap star life without ever getting shot at or arrested…
