By FITSNews || For reasons that probably have something to do with something we could quite honestly care less about, S.C. First Lady Jenny Sanford (TM) is switching out personal email addresses.
And yes, we’re 100 percent dicks for giving out Jenny’s private email address (here, if you want it), but in fairness we’re not really being any bigger dicks than that time we gave out Gov. Mark Sanford’s private cell phone numbers.
What can we say, people – “if you mess with the bull …”
Anyway, our reason for bringing this up now deals not with our lack of judgment or concern for the Sanfords’ privacy – but rather with a question we were asked the other day regarding the Mrs. Sanford’s name.
Since getting divorced from her philandering husband, Jenny is obviously continuing to serve as the state’s first lady (and continuing to receive the benefits of a taxpayer-funded security detail as she tours the state selling her memoir).
Judging by her new g-mail address, she’s also apparently keeping the name “Sanford.”
Interesting … to be perfectly honest, we thought she would go back to Jenny Sullivan, if for no other reason than old money always rolls off the tongue easier than new embarrassment. Oh, and it’s just the classy thing to do … in more ways than one.
Guess she’s gotta make that money, though … and sticking with Sanford (in name only) obviously helps “bring that ka-ching …”

Mark Sanford targeted by anti-government group
State law enforcement officials have a letter sent to South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford by an anti-government group demanding he step down.
State Law Enforcement Division spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons said Friday that a letter was mailed to Sanford, SLED now has the letter.
The Guardians of the free Republics’ Web site says the group wants to “restore America” by peacefully dismantling parts of the government.
An internal intelligence note by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security says the letter received demands that he leave office within three days or he will be removed.

I continue to agree that she is NOT our first lady. She is a private citizen. She has no right, or obligaton to continue to enjoy privileges of the first lady. I am disgusted with her husband and with her. And to the Jenny fan club folks: she put herself in the public light, so anyone that wants to write about her, can and should. I do not agree with Will on many, many things, but on this one, I do.
