By FITSNews || Twenty-one democrats have officially declared themselves as candidates for Congressional and statewide offices in South Carolina in 2010, according to campaign paperwork filed over the course of the previous two weeks with the S.C. Democratic Party.

Democrats fielded candidates for all six Congressional races as well as seven of nine statewide offices.

Oooh … “seven of nine.”

“Democrats are ready to clean up the mess Republicans have made of our state over the last eight years,” said South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Carol Fowler. “Our candidates are well qualified to bring positive change and responsible leadership back to South Carolina.”
