By FITSNews || The men’s basketball team at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University didn’t make the NCAA Tournament this year, but that’s clearly not suppressing “fanthusiasm” in Blacksburg.
And why would it? The Hokies defeated UConn 65-63 last night in the Not Invited Tournament to capture their 25th win of the season – a school record. UConn finished its season with a disappointing 18-16 record, but Husky fans can take some solace at least knowing that their football team spanked South Carolina like a disobedient child in the Pizza Delivery Website Bowl.
