By FITSNews || Less than twenty-four hours after it was narrowly passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, momentum for the repeal of President Barack Obama’s socialized medicine proposals is growing among GOP lawmakers as well as Congressional and Senate candidates all across the country.
The Club for Growth – a fiscal conservative advocacy group based in Washington, D.C. – has already collected the pledges of 45 lawmakers, 182 candidates and 12,437 citizens on its website “Repeal It.org,” which was launched weeks ago in anticipation of socialized medicine becoming law.
S.C. Rep. Tim Scott – who is running for the Palmetto State’s First Congressional District seat – signed the “Repeal It” pledge back on February 20.
“This new bill means rising costs for health insurance, government interference with doctor-patient relationships, and an erosion of our freedom by forcing Americans to purchase health insurance or be penalized,” Scott said in a statement Monday. “It’s bigger government, more spending, and fewer liberties.”
Scott challenged the other ten Republicans running for the House seat being vacated by RINO Henry Brown to join him in signing the pledge.
Obviously, any move to repeal the legislation will be vetoed from Obama – so the soonest the law could be done away with is January 2013.

Repeal it will take 67 Senators against it as long as Obama is President. Then what. Repeal the parts that also include the pre-existing condition clauses?
It’s law. How about add things to help.
“Repeal it”….please….

The Dems just changed the rules for governing. Reconciliation now trumps the filibuster. You don’t need sixty in the Senate anymore. The path to repeal just got clearer. Win the House in 2010, the Senate Majority and White House by 2012, and you’re there.

Real reform will make healthcare affordable for working american citizens without tearing the country apart. This bill is an attack on the private sector.Work for the gov’t or join the peace corp. We are losing our freedom step by step.Remember in november. The dems aren’t through.

I LOVE IT when Liberals make the gay Confederates “squeal” like a Pig!
It’s always “Give Me, Give Me, Give Me” from the Confederate side. Take back my Health Care reform legislation! Give it to me!
I would like to poke one of the Confederate Pigs to watch it squeal!

The only two up my way to sign this thing is Senator Jim DeMint and that guy Jim Lee who is running for Bob Inglis’ seat. Don’t know why more don’t sign this – really a clear choice.
